🚀 Had an amazing time at the UNLV Chapter of the Collegiate 100 Fall 2024 Kickoff Meeting! The energy and enthusiasm were off the charts as we geared up for a new academic year. We were honored to have TEDx Alum Dr. Johnny Surry with us, who delivered a powerful presentation on professional development. His insights and advice were truly inspiring and will no doubt help us all in our journeys ahead. Dr. Surry and I were in the cohort for 2024 100 Black Men of America Leadership Institute. Just completed the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) FLEX Course series! 🎉 The courses that I completed are:FLEX 1: Introduction to Demand Flexibility.FLEX 2: Demand Flexibility and Program Design.FLEX 3: Implementing Flexible Load Programs.This course series has significantly enhanced my understanding of demand flexible loads, including connected water heaters, lighting, HVAC systems, and distributed energy resources like solar, battery storage, and electric vehicle supply equipment.
