the ground and the air. right now, there is no containment. and north of the bay area in butte county, evacuation orders have been downgraded to warnings for the june's fire that's burning south of oroville. so far, flames have burned just over 1000 acres. it is 10% contained. and down here in the bay area a red flag warning has just taken effect in part of solano county. meteorologist rob mayeda is here with more on that warning. yeah. terry from solano county northward to central and southern lake county, this red flag warning now in effect for interior northern california from now all the way through 8:00 on monday evening. so fairly long duration events as we have to watch the wind and the dry conditions tomorrow morning. winds generally out of the west northwest, but humidity levels even during the morning in the 20 to 30% range, will continue to see the dry conditions setting up for the afternoon. areas across the interior east bay and north bay dropping with humidity levels below 25, but the driest of the conditions could kick in by

11:03 pm

monday morning. this is as the winds start to change direction out of the north, so think of it as mid-afternoon dry at about 9 a.m. in the morning for the north bay, and then as you move forward, if the heating of the day and those blustery, dry conditions across the north bay and east bay hills, humidity levels possibly as low as the teens and single digits at times along the diablo range and north bay monday likely to be the peak of elevated fire danger risk around the bay area we'll have a closer look at the impact on temperatures and when cooler marine air could start to lower that fire danger risk in our full forecast coming up in eight minutes. all right. rob, and over the last week or so, we've seen a number of brush fires across the bay area. and that means as the summer goes on, we're likely to see power shutoffs. earlier this week, rob spoke with pg&e to find out how they determine if a power shut off is needed. and so you would be looking for any sort of patch burn where you have high fire risk and high wind risk and so

11:04 pm

we're kind of in the season where we're starting to see high fire risk, and we're just waiting for the wind event or monitoring for the wind event. the shutoffs normally happen during the fall, and that is when brush and trees are at their driest. our free nbc bay area app is a great resource to have during fire season. if you haven't already downloaded it, scan the qr code to the right of your screen right here. it will take you right to the app store. new at 11. devastated and frustrated tonight, the owners of a veterinary clinic on wheels are wondering who would steal their trailer full of equipment. nbc bay area's alyssa goard spoke with the owners, who are now scrambling to figure out how they can continue serving the san leandro community. we've been in business for 19 years for husband and wife jessica and robert cardillo. it's been a labor of love. their business, cheap shots, offers low cost veterinary care in the east bay. much of it through a trailer packed with the supplies and medications they need. so if we open at 10 a.m. by 930, there's

11:05 pm

about 20 people in line waiting for our services. so there's a great need. but this week, their trailer disappeared. they say the trailer was parked here early wednesday morning, and in less than four minutes, they say someone slashed the lock and took off with it. the cardillo showed us where someone sawed through their lock. security camera videos appear to show that happening. at least two people can be seen getting out of an suv. they eventually hitch the trailer, then drive away. that's the part that hurt. the worst is actually seeing people do this to us and to the people of our community. they say there were around $500,000 worth of supplies inside the trailer. it just sucks that somebody would come and steal a trailer from a place that's just trying to do great things for the community. san leandro police are asking for anyone with information on the trailer and what happened to it to call them. demand for cheap shots services is still high, so they're seeking donations to continue meeting the need in the community. it
